Culture of Accountability
Since 1945, Alcon's culture has reflected accountability first. Generations of employees joined the Alcon team with one key mission in mind: to enhance, preserve and restore vision. Every single employee knows at least one person, whether it's a family member, friend or colleague, for whom this mission has been sight-changing, or maybe even life-changing. As a result, each of Alcon's employees considers those people, and sometimes themselves, potential users of their equipment or pharmaceutical solutions. This makes it easy to hold ourselves accountable.
Truly a Team
We place emphasis on what we achieve and how we achieve it. Global collaboration between all internal teams means we know we've produced the best and safest results possible with our eye care products. Our best is never quite good enough for our standards; we believe, however, this is what keeps us striving for better, more efficient and safer results. Yes, nearly 15,000 of us have a great sense of pride in doing what we do. Whether it's an accountant, a scientist, or an expert in packaging, Alcon employees recognize their role in the larger goal: to enhance, preserve and restore vision worldwide.

We know many companies like to claim their people are the best, the brightest, the most dedicated. But there's something about experiencing it every day that means it isn't necessary to claim it quite so frequently.
