Culture of Accountability
Since 1945, Alcon's culture has reflected accountability first. Generations of associates joined the Alcon team with one key mission in mind: to provide innovative products that enhance quality of life by helping people see better. Every single associate knows at least one person, whether it's a family member, friend or colleague, for whom this mission has been sight-changing, or maybe even life-changing. As a result, each of Alcon's associates considers those people, and sometimes themselves, potential users of their equipment or pharmaceutical solutions. This makes it easy to hold ourselves accountable.

We know many companies like to claim their people are the best, the brightest, the most dedicated. But there's something about experiencing it every day that means it isn't necessary to claim it quite so frequently.
