Alcon Laboratorios do Brasil Ltda., or Alcon Brazil, was established in 1968 and includes sales and marketing offices, a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant and a distribution center. Combined, the Brazilian facilities occupy roughly 5,574 square meters (60,000 square feet) where approximately 400 Alcon employees dedicate themselves to manufacturing pharmaceuticals and contact lens care products and delivering a full range of ophthalmic surgical, pharmaceutical and vision care products.
Alcon Brazil takes seriously Alcon's focus on social responsibility, building relationships with partners to help provide its community with educational programs that have a strong emphasis on eye health care, and assisting medical charities through eye care product donations.
The Future
Alcon Brazil will continue its healthy growth through the delivery of high-quality products and exceptional customer service. Several new surgical, pharmaceutical and vision care products will be, or have recently been, launched.
