Alcon Laboratorios, S.A. de C.V., or Alcon Mexico, was established in 1974 with two facilities that occupy a total of 7,246 sq. m. (78,000 square feet). Here, over 200 Alcon Mexico employees dedicate themselves to marketing and selling a full range of ophthalmic surgical, pharmaceutical contact lens care products. If not on location, Alcon's sales force can be found in sales offices around the country providing the customer service and support crucial to the welfare of patients. As well, Alcon Mexico has a patient assistant program that provides discounted intraocular lenses (IOL) for people in need.
