TRAVATAN Z® Eye Drops Solution
TRAVATAN Z® (travoprost eye drops solution) 0.004% is used to reduce elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. TRAVATAN Z® Eye Drops Solution is our most recent formulation that replaces benzalkonium chloride (BAK) with SOFZIA® Preservative System, an ionic buffered preservative system.
TRAVATAN Z® Eye Drops Solution should not be administered while wearing contact lenses. Patients should not touch the bottle tip to any surface to avoid the risk of contamination.
This product should not be taken by those with a sensitivity or allergy to its ingredients. Safety and efficacy have not been determined in children. Caution should be used when administering this drug to pregnant or nursing women. The most common side effect of TRAVATAN Z® Eye Drops Solution is red eyes, but patients may also experience decreased visual acuity, eye pain and blurred vision, as well as other effects. If you experience any of these symptoms contact your doctor. Prostaglandins, such as TRAVATAN Z® Eye Drops Solution, have been known to cause changes in eye color and eyelid skin color, as well as changes in eyelashes, which may be permanent. TRAVATAN® Solution contains POLYQUAD® Preservative instead of BAK and is not available in the United States.
TRAVATAN® Eye Drops Solution should not be administered while wearing contact lenses. Patients should not touch the bottle tip to any surface to avoid the risk of contamination.
This product should not be taken by those with a sensitivity or allergy to its ingredients. Safety and efficacy have not been determined in children. Caution should be used when administering this drug to pregnant or nursing women. AZARGA® (5 mg/ml +10 mg/ml eye drops, suspension) is not available in the United States. AZARGA® Eye Drops Suspension is indicated for the decrease of intraocular pressure (IOP) in adult patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension for whom monotherapy provides insufficient IOP reduction.
This product should not be taken by those with a sensitivity or allergy to its ingredients, in patients with heart failure or disorders of heart rhythm, respiratory problems, or severe kidney disease. Safety and efficacy have not been determined in children. Caution should be used when administering this drug to pregnant women. The most common side effect of AZARGA® Eye Drops Suspension is blurred vision.

DUOTRAV® (40 micrograms/ml +5 mg/ml eye drops, solution) Solution without BAK combines two ocular hypertension reduction agents in one bottle. As they work together, DUOTRAV® Solution decreases intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension who are insufficiently responsive to topical beta blockers or prostaglandins. DUOTRAV® Solution contains POLYQUAD® Preservative instead of BAK and is not available in the United States.
DUOTRAV® Solution should not be administered while wearing contact lenses. Patients should not touch the bottle tip to any surface to avoid the risk of contamination.
