ISO 14001
The international environmental management standard, ISO 14001, was revised in 2004 and Alcon has achieved certification at all of our manufacturing and Research & Development facilities.
REACH
REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization of Chemicals), a European Community Regulation passed in 2007, focuses on chemicals and their safe use. Alcon is committed to full compliance with the obligations included in the REACH Regulation 1907/2006.
