Point of View
Proper eye care is unavailable in many areas of the world and proper support and training for eye care professionals in other locales is lacking – these are just two of the problems that deny quality eye care to so many. This, in conjunction with a rise in blindness caused by treatable or preventable eye diseases, paints a picture of world eye health that demands the immediate attention of the entire eye care community. Alcon takes its leadership role in this effort seriously.
