Young Investigator Grant 2011 Application

Information

The Alcon Research Institute Young Investigator Grant is intended to encourage and promote the early career development of clinicians and scientists entering research in vision science and ophthalmology. We welcome clinicians or scientists from around the world to apply for this grant.

• Eight grants of $50,000 each will be awarded annually
• Each of the grants will be applied to support the research program of the awardee at their institution
• No more than 10% of the grant may be used to cover indirect costs
• Awardees must be devoting at least 50% effort toward research

Application Deadlines

• Applications must be received by October 1, 2011
• Selection of grants will be made by January 1, 2012
• Award notification will be made immediately following the selection of the grant recipients
