What does the study involve for the patients?

All study injections will be performed on one eye only, which will be called the “study eye”. During this study patients will visit the research clinic for the screening visit to determine if they are eligible for the study. If they are eligible, they will return to the clinic within a few days for the injection visit.

Following the masked injection of study medicine, patients will be asked to come to the research clinic for visits every 3 months for up to 2 years. Every 6 months, if the disease is stable, patients will be offered a new injection with the study medicine.
