Fort Worth, Texas, USA – August 19, 2015 – Alcon, the global leader in eye care and division of Novartis has appointed Camila Finzi as Region President, Alcon Latin America. She succeeds Sergio Duplan who assumes the role of Region President, Alcon North America.

Ms. Finzi most recently served as Head of Alcon Brazil, leading the largest market in the region. She joined Novartis in 2004 and has held roles of increasing responsibility, including Commercial and Access Head for the Latin America and Canada Region and Business Unit Head for Specialties Products for Brazil, in Novartis Pharma. Ms. Finzi holds an MBA from Fundação Dom Cabral, a Bachelor’s in Economics from Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado and a Master’s in Finance from the Instituto Brasileiro de Mercado de Capitais, IBMEC.

Mr. Duplan most recently served as Region President, Alcon Latin America and Canada. He joined Novartis more than 11 years ago and has held several leadership roles within Novartis Pharmaceuticals before joining Alcon in 2012. Mr. Duplan earned a Bachelor’s degree from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico and a Master’s of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Like Mr. Warner, he is widely respected as a strong people- and customer-focused, strategic leader who builds strong teams in service of the company’s mission.
