Enhancing Sight by Land and Air
Alcon is pleased to announce that the company donated a hand-painted, eye-themed motorcycle to Orbis International on Saturday, May 7, during the annual meeting of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) in New Orleans.

The one-of-a-kind motorcycle was created to celebrate the launch of Contoura™ Vision, a custom topography-based LASIK procedure. It will remain in the Alcon booth (#718) for the duration of the ASCRS meeting.

Orbis International gives communities across the world access to quality eye care, transforming lives and restoring vision. Orbis will auction the motorcycle at the official launch gala of the new Orbis MD-10 Flying Eye Hospital in Los Angeles on June 4, 2016.

The Alcon Foundation has supported Orbis for more than 30 years through donation of surgical equipment, devices and grants. The partnership is centered on a shared goal of providing broader access to quality eye care around the world.
