Fort Worth, Texas, January 05, 2015 – Alcon, the global leader in eye care, announced the launch of AOSEPT^®PLUS with HydraGlyde^® contact lens solution in Europe. The solution combines a proprietary hydrogen peroxide-based AOSEPT PLUS solution with the exclusive wetting technology of HydraGlyde^® Moisture Matrix. This technology, only found only in OPTI-FREE^® PureMoist^®, surrounds the contact lens with lasting moisture, allowing for long lasting comfort for contact lens wearers.

Unlike wetting agents from other solutions that may not stay on the lens, HydraGlyde Moisture Matrix embeds itself on and within the lens surface. This environment and the solution’s ability to deep clean and remove deposits and debris, facilitates moisture and comfort even on your longest days.

HydraGlyde Moisture Matrix, a scientifically-advanced proprietary synthetic block copolymer technology, reduces surface and bulk hydrophobicity and improves the hydrophilic properties of silicone hydrogel lenses. This unique wetting technology also has an extremely high affinity for the hydrophobic areas of soft contact lenses.
