Alcon’s AIR OPTIX® COLORS contact lenses featured in the Alice + Olivia show during New York Fashion Week
- Partnering with contemporary clothing company Alice + Olivia, Alcon showcased AIR OPTIX® COLORS contact lenses as part of colorful head-to-toe looks
- More than 50 fashion and beauty influencers experienced AIR OPTIX® COLORS contact lenses first-hand at Alcon’s Haute Spot space in the New York Fashion Week headquarters
Fort Worth, Texas, September 18, 2015 – Alcon, the global leader in eye care, partnered with Alice + Olivia, a contemporary clothing company, to create unique head-to-toe looks at New York Fashion Week’s (NYFW) showcase of spring/summer 2016 collections. Models in the Alice + Olivia presentation-style show on September 15 paired AIR OPTIX® COLORS contact lenses with their colorful looks, showcasing vibrant eye-color enhancements to hundreds of fashion and beauty influencers, celebrities and retail buyers.

Alcon also hosted the AIR OPTIX® COLORS Haute Spot on September 14, creating a unique experience for fashion and beauty influencers at NYFW headquarters. The lounge-style booth featured an opportunity for participants to try on the nine shades of AIR OPTIX® COLORS contact lenses. Eight eye care professionals supported the Alcon events at NYFW, including fitting models for the Alice + Olivia show with AIR OPTIX® COLORS contact lenses before and during the show, and facilitating influencer try-ons at NYFW headquarters.

About AIR OPTIX COLORS Contact Lenses
AIR OPTIX® COLORS contact lenses are the first monthly replacement, daily wear color lenses available in the US on a silicone hydrogel platform. AIR OPTIX® COLORS contact lenses are recommended for daily wear with a monthly replacement schedule. Available colors include Brilliant Blue, Gemstone Green, Sterling Gray, Honey, Pure Hazel, Blue, Green, Gray and Brown. The lenses are available with an 8.6 mm base curve and a 14.2 mm diameter. The contact lens power ranges from +6.00D to -6.00D in 0.25D steps (including plano) and -6.50D to -8.00D in 0.50D steps.

For daily wear only for near/far-sightedness. Contact lenses, even if worn for cosmetic reasons, are prescription medical devices that must only be worn under the prescription, direction and supervision of an eye care professional.
