In recognition of World Glaucoma Week, don’t wait to get your eyes checked and risk missing out on all the unforgettable moments life has to offer.

During World Glaucoma Week, we’re helping educate people about the negative effects of glaucoma on individuals, families, and society, and the important role that regular eye check-ups play in its early diagnosis and treatment. Glaucoma is the leading cause of preventable, irreversible blindness. According to a recent global survey, less than half of people know the facts about glaucoma.1 Early diagnosis and treatment is essential, but many people are not aware that they may face the risk of glaucoma and potential blindness.
The survey also showed that although almost 90% of people believe having an annual eye exam is important, only one in three actually go to the appointment.1 Don’t wait, go get your eyes checked. #WGW2017
