Pharmaceutical Products
We maintain our position as the market leader in pharmaceuticals for the eye and ear and continue to lead the way to the most advanced treatment for patients suffering from glaucoma, eye infections and eye allergies as well as ear infections. Alcon offers the first and only once-daily prescription eye drop approved by the FDA to treat ocular itching associated with allergic conjunctivitis, PATADAY™ ophthalmic solution, called PATANOL® S ophthalmic solution in some markets, as well as the first combination antibiotic and anti-inflammatory drug approved to treat ear infections, CIPRODEX®* Otic suspension. Through the integration of CIBA VISION with Alcon, we are now one of the largest manufacturers of contact lenses and lens care products.
