Gymnast Laurie Hernandez and Alcon Help People See Their Potential with New “Eye Can, Eye Will” Campaign

FORT WORTH, Texas, June 18, 2019 – Alcon, the global leader in eye care, is teaming up with gold- and silver-medal winning gymnast Laurie Hernandez on a new campaign that encourages people to find inspiration to visualize and achieve their goals. The “Eye Can, Eye Will” campaign is based on Laurie’s belief that personal mantras and clear, comfortable vision with DAILIES TOTAL1®contact lenses have helped her maintain the focus and enthusiasm needed to get to the top of her game. This campaign is rolling out during a pivotal time for Laurie, as she prepares to compete in next year’s games in Tokyo.

The “Eye Can, Eye Will” campaign encourages everyone to create a personal saying through a newly launched online “mantra maker” that will help them see their potential and achieve their goals. The tool takes the user through a series of introspective questions and, at the end, produces a shareable and printable customized mantra in the form of a digital eye chart.

In addition to the online mantra maker, the campaign will feature inspirational videos of Laurie – on and off the beam – created to give people a peek inside what motivates her.
